Tour Itinerary: 2 Days Zagora Shared Desert Tour From Marrakech
Day 1 Marrakech – Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah – Agdaz – Draa Valley – Zagora Dunes
On the first day, We will start our 2 Days Zagora Shared Desert Tour from Marrakech at 7: 00 AM to drive immediately to Zagora via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and through the high atlas mountains where you will see beautiful Berber villages and herding animals. We will stop to explore the UNESCO world heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah that was the location for many famous Hollywood movies like Gladiator and Laurence of Arabia, continue to Ouarzazate for having lunch and go to the oasis of Agdez by crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains. After a brief stop in the village center, we will drive across Draa valley which is the largest palm plantation in the Middle East and it is filled with wonderful towering Kasbahs. The moment we reach Zagora, We will straddle our camels for a desert trekking adventure that will take you deep into the Sahara sand dunes to the Berber desert camp where you will enjoy dinner around the campfire and spend the night under the crystal sky of the desert.
Day 2 Zagora Dunes – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
In early morning, you will awake to enjoy the sunrays that cast over the sand dunes of desert and have breakfast in the camp to ride later our camels back. We will continue driving to Ouarzazate, stop in Taourirt to take a break cafe and to visit the Kasbah as well. Thereafter, we will make our way to Marrakech by crossing the High Atlas Mountains ending our shared 2 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech. Our driver will drop you off in Jamaa Elfna square around 6:00 PM.
