Start your 3-day journey from Marrakesh at 8 am and set off towards Dades Valley. As you pass through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass, take in the stunning landscapes and views of Berber villages. Along the way, stop for coffee or a traditional cup of mint tea at one of the nice panoramic stops. Visit UNESCO’s Ait Benhaddou Kasbah along the way as it has been the site of multiple international films and was also an important stronghold during caravans that ferried slaves, ivory, gold, and salt. The next destination is Ouarzazate, known as Africa’s Hollywood before proceeding onto Dades Valley to spend the evening.
